The VP of Risk Management is responsible for identifying and assessing potential Risks to the organization as well as managing and directing certain functions within the organization to minimize adverse impacts to the company.
Requirements
- Normally requires a 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management or business-related field such as Finance or Business Administration and typically 10 years' related experience 4 of which is in a leadership or management capacity.
- A Certified Risk Manager accreditation is preferred but not required.
- Up to 30% travel required by both air and ground.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft office suite applications with advanced knowledge in Excel as well as scheduling and job costing software.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide cross section of individuals.
- Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent investigative, interviewing and mediation skills.
