ALead Claim Support Assistant - CSO
The Auto Club Group is seeking a prospective Lead Claim Support Assistant who willwork in accordance with established guidelines, assign claims electronically, recognize subrogation potential, and refer claims to their appropriate areas as indicated.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to :
- Use expert understanding of Claim concepts, processes, and systems to prepare reports, conduct audits, reassign claims, handle escalated issues and develop training.
- Serve as a resource for less experienced staff.
- Consult and provide recommendations to management regarding training needs, audit issues and opportunities for process improvements.
- Provide training on systems and processes for all levels of staff within assigned claims team.
- Provide side-by-side coaching as requested by the supervisor / manager.
- Create and update job aids and training material.
- Monitor changes in APD claim handling functions or functions related to area of responsibility to update training material and provide notice to the staff and management.
- Complete department monthly reporting and audits
- Handle all processes associated with mailbox management.
- Reassign claims files when sub-claims are added to current claims and / or when coverage is needed.
- Review EFT payment rejects and reissues payment or works in conjunction with the check issuer to determine next steps.
- Review invoices and issues payment when appropriate
- Act as the lead for one or more processes within the assigned business area holding higher level of responsibility than peers.
- Use knowledge of all functions to provide support and back up staff and management.
- May have oversight for the APD Inspection Assignment Dispatch process including customer contact and setting expectations for the remainder of the process, documenting all activity in the claim system.

The ACG Lead Claim Support Assistant will earn a competitive salary of $23.00 - $26.00 an hour with an annual bonus potential based on performance.
