We are currently looking for Part Time Activities Assistant to join the Avalon Bridgewater team!
Schedule:
- 9am-5pm, every other weekend!
The duties of the Activities Assistant include:
- Engage all residents in daily leisure activities of their choice
- Facilitate resident/family visitation and Skype calls
- Provide supervision and a safe environment for all residents under his/her care
- Conduct indoor and outdoor activity programs
- Additional responsibilities include assisting the Activity Director in the execution of an on-going programming for our Alzheimer and Long-Term Care residents

Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekends. This position requires working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Availability to work evenings for special evening events may also be required.
- Must be available to work holidays.
- Experience in activities and with Alzheimer’s residents is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
