Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, busy hotel restaurant in downtown Tulsa.
The downtown Hyatt Regency's brand-new restaurant, The Avery Kitchen & Bar, is hiring!!
The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in supporting our servers and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for food service, cleanliness hospitality, along with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
We would prefer to hire support staffers who are willing able to provide our guests with excellent customer service through processing/running to-go room service orders as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and clearing dishes.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs.
- Operate Aloha POS system for processing orders when necessary.
- Process run room service orders as needed.
- Run food as needed.
- Answer phone calls as needed add reservations to OpenTable, or be willing to learn.
- Uphold high standards of culinary presentation and hospitality throughout the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. We have availability for a daytime support person as well as an evening support person. (We offer full-time or part-time hours.)
- Friendly a team player.
- Performs work under direct supervision.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
