Employee standards : To ensure high levels of hospitality every time you are in contact with guests. To be attentive to assisting management during service with food and employee operations task on the floor at all times. To be responsible for assisting during services, including but not limited to, the initial guest experience, clearly and efficiently communicating with all managers, chefs, guests and staff. Additionally, to also ensure food service meets company standards with customer satisfaction maintained at all times. Interacts with the restaurant guests, fellow staff members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous and hospitable manner to ensure an exemplary dining experience. Also actively takes orders, makes personal recommendations, conducts full and complete food / wine / beverage service, and monitors guests’ dining experience.
Reports to : Primarily to Front of the House operations management with an equal standard of respect and professionalism to the Back of House management team (chefs).
FSLA Status : Hourly Non-Exempt
Compensation : $30.00

PRIMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Provides professional and exceptional serviceResponsible for maintaining professionalism and kindness when interacting with guests and staffConduct themselves in a manner that is both presentable and professional at all timesMaintains consistent and clear communication with allGreet customersMust be on-site with absolutely no possibility of remote workAssist staff with Providing prompt, professional, friendly, and personalized service to our guestsProvides help and support to all colleagues.Possesses in-depth knowledge of products, menus, food, beverages, wines, and general information about the company.Monitor employees side work and that it is completed as described.Assist with seating guestAssist servers and staff with food service issuesChecks staff side-workAssist with voiding guest compsAssists with checking server cash outs, running closeout reportEnsures floor is set up for next serviceWork as a team.Communicate to FOH and BOH managementSupport staff including managers, servers and chef.Learn and teach fellow colleagues.Ensures the working area has a high standard of cleanliness and follows health code requirements.Properly set-up station and side stations including :Square-off seats, tables, make sure all tables and chairs / banquettes are clean and free of debris
Help servers set tables / buffets exact to managers ordersWipe down chairs and table basesStock side stations with appropriate materialsPerform opening side work as described for specific sectionsAttend and participate in daily pre-shift meetings.Always smiles and greets guests warmly and genuinely.Reports any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations of the house rules or breaches of security orsafety regulations.
Reports all breakages or damaged equipment immediately to management.Provide professional and exceptional guest service.Clear and reset tables after guests have leftProperly serves wine and alcohol (with awareness).Delivers food and beverages to tables.Maintains tables and tableware.Completely and accurately fills out financial paperwork.Complies with all occupational, health, and safety standards.Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions, regarding food and beverage.WORKING CONDITIONS :

At least 2 years of server experience in a high-volume establishment.Strong guest service skillsStrong communication in personAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a deadline-driven manner while working in a demanding environmentPerks :
