Position Overview
For the 2025-2026 school year, Awty International School, a partner institution of the Mlfmonde network with a French program accredited by the French Ministry of Education, is seeking a certified or agrégé teacher in Physics and Chemistry.
The school will be looking for an experienced hands-on teacher who interacts with students in a creative and innovative manner and can take complex concepts to a level the students will comprehend. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to and experience teaching in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five years full-time teaching experience
- 3 years of teaching experience in Secondary
- Bilingual in English and French
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria, listed by priority:
- Experience teaching in French schools abroad.
- Strong command of English (minimum B2 level).
- Solid references (e.g., inspection reports, recommendations with contact information, phone, and email).
- A skilled, creative, and dynamic educator.
- Open-minded, curious, and tolerant.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- A team player.
- Rigorous and well-organized.
- Sensitive to cultural diversity.
- Proficient in the pedagogical use of digital tools.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching French programs abroad.
- Experience preparing students for the Brevet and Baccalaureate exams is expected.
- Candidates should prioritize the quality of their teaching and actively engage in the school's quality assurance initiatives.
