This position is for D Crew with the hours of 6:45pm to 7:00am and is a 2/2/3 schedule that includes working every other weekend.
Job Summary:
The AZEK Company/Timbertech Wilmington division is seeking an Operator, Blending for the Blending Department. Core Responsibilities:
- Maintains and monitors material supplies in silos using computerized blending programs
- Makes decisions as needed regarding when to change material distribution from various silos
- Communicates with production staff to meet plant's blending needs, allowing for production lines to make quality product and meet customer demands
- Moves material from rail to silo or from plant
- Performs quality checks on incoming raw material
- Ensures dust and regrind materials are located at bag/dump stations
- Assists in recycling of cardboard and other waste products.
- Places raw material trailers in designated areas and obtain samples
- Unloads wood flour trailers and clean wood shed floors
- Completes the yard truck training and perform the movement of trailers in the lot and in and out of wood flour unloading stations.
- Completes inventory counts of bags/boxes of material/regrind and complete necessary reports
- Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications:
- One to three years in a similar position
- Basic computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Forklift Certification required
- Meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program; Experience with mechanical equipment (rotary air locks, diverter valves, Mac valves and knife gates), a plus; Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Advanced education and/or related certification(s) a plus
