What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Operator 2nd Shift position at The AZEK Company?
Core Responsibilities
- Contributes to accident free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
- Moves finished product for staging, packing, or shipping.
- Completes daily duties in accordance with workplace organization and efficiency methodologies, such as TPM and 6S.
- Gives production support in the staging of bins, skids, and raw materials Ø Assists in recycling of cardboard and other waste products.
- Performs daily maintenance check on forklift at the beginning of each shift before use.
- Uses safe operating procedures while operating forklift.
- Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.
- 1 years of manufacturing experience, preferred.
- Forklift Certification.
- Significant experience running an extrusion line.
- Meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech’s Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program.
- Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job including: Push / Pull / Lift / Manipulate 10lbs – 100lbs.
- Ability to stand for complete shift; kneeling, lifting overhead, bending climbing and crawling are often required.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures that can become very hot depending on the weather.
