Basic Description:
We seek dynamic, energetic barbacks to accurately stock and restock beverage products at a fast pace with high levels of accuracy. This barback will provide an enthusiastic representation of The Gilmore Collection at all times. This Barback will maintain bar items and wash glasses, and follow all applicable sanitation and health guidelines.
Essential Functions:
1. Cleans, stocks, and maintains the bar through out shift.
2. Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
3. Cleans up and re-settles the bar after completion of service.
4. Restocks the bar.
5. Follows proper inventory and requisition procedures.
6. Communicates information regarding out-of-stock items to all bartenders and managers.
7. Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time.
8. May be asked to make drinks or pour beer or wine when it is busy.
Qualifications
Knowledge
1. High school diploma, 18 years of age or older
2. Basic math skills.
3. Basic understanding of applicable federal, state and local liquor laws.
Skills/Aptitudes
1. English language and professional communications skills are required.
2. Ability to take direction.
3. Ability to work in a team environment.
4. Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
5. Must have problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
Working Conditions
1. This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
2. Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
3. The individual must be able to transport up to 75 pounds on occasion and up to 50 pounds regularly.
4. Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction.
5. Must be able to see to 20/20 vision with correction.
