What are the responsibilities and job description for the Newborn Care Specialist – Miami, FL position at The Baby Boss?

Location: Miami, FL
Schedule: 4 nights a week, 7 pm - 7 am, for 8 weeks.
Baby fed: Breastmilk
Notes: This Miami-based family is expecting their first baby and is eager for a knowledgeable newborn care specialist to help them get started on the right foot. They need support with proper feeding techniques, establishing sleep routines, and making sure their little one thrives. Mom has a great support network, but the family wants professional guidance to feel confident in their care approach.
Required materials:
- Copy of professional certificates: For NCS applicants, we only accept trainings accredited by the NCSA. If you’re still completing your training, we can help direct you toward an approved course.
- CPR infant certification: Having this certification shows you’re prepared for any emergency situations. If you’re not currently certified, we can guide you to a course that meets our standards.
- Proof of liability insurance (CM F): This ensures you’re professionally covered while working. If you don’t have this in place yet, we can point you toward a provider.
- Proof of LLC/DBA for your business: If you have a registered business, include documentation of your LLC or DBA status.
