Job Description:
A warm and flexible family is seeking an experienced and loving newborn caregiver to start within 10 to 12 days, ensuring an overlap with mom’s return to work on February 3rd. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about developmental care, knowledgeable about newborn routines, and excited to partner with first-time parents.
Details:
- Start Date: End of January (ASAP, to allow for overlap).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM (flexible hours). Occasional Saturdays with the possibility of extended hours as needed.
- Child’s Age: 4-week-old newborn.
- Responsibilities:
- Focus on baby care only—no cooking or cleaning required.
- Engage developmentally with the baby, track sleep cycles, and manage wake windows.
- Partner with parents to maintain their established routine (eat, sleep, burp, repeat).
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Must have extensive experience with newborns.
- Personality: Warm, loving, reliable, and flexible. Someone who takes initiative, follows directions, and fits seamlessly into a family-oriented environment.
- Transportation: Must have a car to commute, as parents cannot miss work.
- Additional Traits: Willing to collaborate, teach, and provide feedback to first-time parents while following their preferred parenting style.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $25-$27/hour (on the books).
