The Baby Doctor Pediatric Therapy (DBA EI BABY DOCTOR PC) is hiring. We are a pediatric home health agency with specialties for many pediatric and infant diagnoses. Therapist owned and operated, in business for 6 years, we are looking to hire a full time pediatric physical therapist who loves working with children in this high energy, in-demand field.
The Baby Doctor provides services to both infants, toddlers, and children. We like to match the children with the provider with whom shares that specialty. The Baby Doctor is known in the Chicago-land area with an outreach that is organic and home grown. Our network includes Pediatricians, other therapists, lactation consultants, and more.
We are interested in hiring a full-time pediatric physical therapist position to complete visits to in-demand areas of Lake, Cook County suburbs as well as Chicago. This person is a good communicator. This candidate is professional, responsible, and compassionate. This position involves daily car travel, independent work, and time management.
The list of responsibilities include:
· Possess and maintain an active IL PT license
· Possess and maintain the early intervention credential
· Excellent communication skills to communicate physical developmental delay to families
· Evaluate patients using clinical judgement and standardized testing
· Interpret standardized testing results
· Determine a plan of care, goal writing
· Become familiar with physical therapy diagnoses
· Development home programs for families
· Complete required compliance reports for early intervention include daily notes
· Time management in between clients, manage the driving necessary between appointments
· Collaborate with other providers as necessary
· Possible supervision of a PTA in EI
Job Requirements
· Willing to accept a new grad physical therapist with a pediatric internship
· Valid IL PT license
· Valid Early intervention credential
· Must have permission to work in US or be a US citizen
· Must have access to a reliable vehicle with a drivers license
· Medical requirements include: proof of COVID vaccine, TDAP, Varicella
· Proof of negative TB test
· Proof of recent CPR certification
