Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and a commitment to ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants or management promptly.
- Fabricate or repair equipment and structures as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors or other maintenance personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and address their concerns professionally.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field. (5 years minimum required)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants and team members.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
