Position Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker Supervisor / Clinical Coordinator to lead and manage our social work team. The successful candidate will oversee clinical services, provide supervision to staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to clients. This role requires strong leadership, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to manage and coordinate diverse tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervision & Leadership
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to social work staff to ensure professional growth and adherence to best practices.
Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of social work personnel.
Facilitate regular team meetings to address clinical issues, caseload management, and staff concerns.
Clinical Oversight
Ensure all client assessments, treatment plans, and interventions are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
Monitor and review case documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
Serve as a clinical resource for complex or high-risk cases, providing consultation and decision-making support.
Program Coordination
Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and services to meet client needs and organizational goals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
Maintain and update policies and procedures to align with current clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Client Advocacy & Support
Promote a client-centered approach, ensuring that services are culturally competent, equitable, and sensitive to individual needs.
Address client complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Administrative Duties
Prepare reports on program performance, staff productivity, and clinical outcomes for management review.
Manage budgets related to social work services and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and accreditation requirements, such as HIPAA and state licensing standards.
Community Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, service providers, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and resource availability.
Represent the organization at external meetings, workshops, and conferences.
Qualifications :
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) or equivalent state licensure New York
Minimum of 3-5 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
