We’re looking for passionate, energetic bartenders to join our team at the Backyard Bar and Marina for the 2025 season! If you love great drinks, live music, and working in a fun, fast-paced environment right on the water, we want to hear from you!
Position: Bartender (Seasonal)
Location: Backyard Bar and Marina, Johnsburg, IL
Hours: Seasonal, flexible shifts (weekends and evenings)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Assist with bar inventory and restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure a safe drinking environment by following all responsible alcohol service guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain a high standard of customer service
- Must be available weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Preferred: Local candidates within 10 miles of the restaurant
- Preferred: College students looking for a flexible, seasonal job

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
