Do you have a passion for working with youth and families who have been touched by the Child Welfare/Foster Care System? We have a unique team-based program that is looking for a passionate therapist who is experienced in working with this population. Caseloads are kept at 12 – 14 in an effort to focus on the needs of the youth and family. We focus is on healing past the trauma, stabilizing current and future placements, and equipping our youth to have healthy relationships in the future. Our treatment models are focused on Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) and Together Facing the Challenge out of Duke University.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure that abuse and neglect concerns are appropriately reported and immediate actions are taken to ensure client safety.
- Ensures high risk behaviors of clients are mitigated through therapeutic services which may include education and skill development of a client's guardian or caregiver.
- Complete an initial comprehensive/diagnostic mental health assessment of clients unless a previous assessment is provided.
- Participates in or conducts the individualized treatment plan (Trauma-Informed, child-focused, SMART Goals) and meetings with the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Participate in weekly clinical staffing meetings with the internal PTFC team.
- Provides weekly individual and family therapy as prescribed in the client's individual treatment plan (Trauma-Informed, child-focused, SMART Goals).
- Provide supportive counseling and psycho-educational support to the identified client and family to improve stability and coping mechanisms in accordance with program standards.
- Provides crisis intervention services and identifying these services in the client's community.
- Ensure all required billing documentation is prepared accurately and timely (STAR Health).
- Provided ongoing assessment of client's presenting emotional and mental health issues.
- Maintains assigned productivity requirements.
- Cover on-call when assigned, which includes responding to emergency situations after hours.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree in Social Work or related field.
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC
- Experience working with trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy preferred.
Salary : $75,000
