Leading by example, operating manager will train, oversee and perform duties of team members as well as all other duties and responsibilities of a general manager. Provides exceptional customer service to all customers by receiving and preparing customer orders in an efficient manner by performing the following duties. This person needs to have an outgoing and friendly personality.
Duties and Responsibilities for 1 store: (Duties will evolve with potential growth)
1. Compliant with all Operational practices/weekly schedule & truly agrees with the importance of following these practices.
2. Open and close the shop based on The Baked Bear operations guidelines.
3. Close down the register at the end of the night and balance drawer.
4. Greets customers in a courteous manner as they enter the store
5. Applies knowledge of the Baked Bear products and assists customers through the ordering process
6. Takes orders and prepares menu items promptly and in accordance with customer requests.
7. Applies knowledge of food handling requirements
8. Operates the POS system and cash register properly with each transaction
9. Mix cookie dough and bake cookies according to store procedures
10. Responsible for keeping the counters and surrounding areas clean using proper cleaning procedures
11. Adheres to all company policies in a professional and timely manner
12. Scheduling employee shifts and cover in any absence
13. Perform all food and paper ordering (all vendor ordering)
14. Work diligently on local marketing and community integration with support of corporate team
15. Handle sales and operations for catering component of business
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in an exemplary fashion. You must be professional, punctual, and demonstrate exceptional customer service and multi-tasking skills. You must be comfortable delegating and willing to take on additional responsibly. Must possess a valid driver license and be able to drive company catering vehicle for events.
