What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member/Cashier/Customer Service position at The Baked Bear?
Summary:
Provides exceptional customer service to all customers by receiving and preparing customer orders in an efficient manner by performing the following duties. This person should possess all qualities of our core values.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.)
1. Greets customers in a courteous manner as they enter the store.
2. Applies knowledge of the Baked Bear products and assists customers through the ordering process.
3. Takes orders and prepares menu items promptly and in accordance with customer requests.
4. Follows all training steps and processes.
5. Operates the POS system and cash register properly with each transaction.
6. Responsible for keeping the counters and surrounding areas clean using proper cleaning procedures.
7. Adheres to all company policies in a professional and timely manner.
8. Follows company operational processes with opening/closing lists.
9. Applies knowledge of food handling requirements.
10. Possess a food handlers card or attend an in-house food handlers class and pass the test.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You must be professional, punctual, and demonstrate exceptional customer service and multi-tasking skills.
