Summary of position:
The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children's Center), promotes the best possible mental health of children and families through the integration of research, intervention, training, and policy.
The Manville School at the Baker Center for Children & Families is seeking an experienced Clinical Social Worker to join our team of school-based clinicians! Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Clinical Social Worker at the Manville School will provide high quality mental health treatments to a culturally diverse population of children in our middle school program, utilizing trauma-informed and evidence-based practices (EBP). The Clinical Social Worker functions as the internal case manager and team-leader for their assigned students and actively participates in all Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Meetings.

Essential duties:
- Provide weekly therapeutic services to an assigned caseload of students
- Co-lead weekly clinical groups that support identity work and social-emotional learning
- Conduct diagnostic and psychoeducational assessments
- Provide consultation and crisis intervention as needed
- Coordinate care with families, community-based providers, government agencies, and other collaterals, as appropriate
Qualifications
Education:
- Master of Social Work; Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, interest in transferring out-of-state licensure, or ability to obtain licensure within 6-12 months of hire
Experience:
- 1-3 years of social work experience within a fast-paced environment, and exposure to school, inpatient, and/or residential settings, preferred
- Experience or familiarity with evidence-based practices (CBT and/or DBT are especially beneficial)
- Clinical supervision experience is highly beneficial
Skills:
- A commitment to culturally responsive care and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and utilize outcomes from data, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Word
