Summary of position:
The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children's Center), promotes the best possible mental health of children and families through the integration of research, intervention, training, and policy.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Individual Giving and Engagement Manager plays a key role in achieving annual revenue and engagement goals. The Individual Giving and Engagement Manager leads efforts to identify funding and engagement opportunities while cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors and prospects. The manager develops strategies to strengthen donor and other stakeholder relationships, establish affinity groups, and communicate the impact of philanthropy effectively.

Essential duties:
- Serves as a member of the Development Team and supports fundraising and engagement efforts.
- Builds a community of individual supporters with strong cultivation and stewardship efforts to sustain and expand donor bases to drive long-term engagement and support.
- Achieves success in reaching ambitious fundraising goals to support annual operations and programmatic needs.
- Engages and builds relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and connects with individuals at all levels.
- Develops and executes strategies to engage prospects and donors through personalized outreach, events, and targeted communications.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, non-profit or related field required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated and successful experience in nonprofit fundraising is required.
- Proven ability to achieve ambitious fundraising targets to support annual operating and programmatic needs.
Training:
- Proficiency in donor management systems (i.e., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 (commensurate with experience)
