We are a sports fans dream destination located right here in SWFL. Our store is one of the only sports card stores in the Fort Myers area and we carry the largest selection of authentic and licensed sports apparel for professional sports. We also sell hard to find sneakers (Jordans, dunks, yeezy, etc).
While having some experience with sneaker trends is a plus, it is not a requirement. Our team can train the right individual on the sneaker market and trading cards. Ideal candidates will have experience in retail and if you have a love for sports, even better!
We are looking for a passionate individual with experience in a retail environment to assist our team in-store as well as fulfilling on-line orders. As a keyholder, you will also have to assist with opening and closing the store as needed.
Our team members also receive employee discounts on all areas of merchandise as well as bonuses and store credit for milestones.
We are looking for someone that has some flexibility with their schedule and can work both weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in daily operations and management of the retail store
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage and supervise a team of retail associates
- Train and develop new employees on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked and displayed properly
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the store's appearance
- Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales goals and targets
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills to assist with store operations and paperwork
- Recruiting experience to help with hiring and onboarding new employees
- Multilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customers and staff (not a requirement)
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks efficiently
- Assistant manager experience or similar role in a retail environment
- Training development skills to educate and empower employees
- Store management knowledge to assist with overall store operations
- Team management skills to motivate and lead a group of retail associates
- Shift management abilities to ensure smooth operations during different shifts
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for cash handling and transactions
