This role will manage the operations at Bama Frozen Dough
Job Purpose : The engineer is responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of all production related manufacturing equipment and processes required to maintain high quality products in a repeatable and cost-effective manner. The engineer works with product development and sales to meet customer requests for new product lines on both new line and existing line modifications. As a change agent this position is accountable for modeling Bama's values and foundational principles.
This position reports to the Plant Manager and is a key member of the plant leadership team. This position also has dotted line accountability to the VP - Engineering and plays a key role in assuring alignment across three food manufacturing plants located in Tulsa, OK.
Role Description and Job Accountabilities :
The Engineer applies engineering tools and knowledge (mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, civil, structural, environmental, economics, maintenance, and ergonomics) to develop, lead, and implement cost savings and cost prevention projects. Additionally, this position uses project management skills (scope, timing, and budget) to define project expectations and deliverable.
Qualifications :
- Education / Certification Requirements :
Engineering degree required. Preferred engineering discipline in mechanical, biosystems / agricultural, chemical, and / or electrical fields
Demonstrate the ability to solve problems
