Job Overview:
The Bank Event Center Food Runner plays a critical role in the smooth operation of the restaurant; their work is important and significantly contributes to a well-run kitchen. The food runner is responsible for ensuring each customer’s food order is delivered promptly and without mistakes. The food runner will organize food tickets, communicate with cook staff to ensure each course is distributed and ready in order, and deliver the completed meals to the customer’s table.
Procedure Knowledge and Execution
- Promptly deliver each course as it is prepared to the correct table and in order
- Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests
- Maintain our high food safety and sanitation standards
- Remove guests’ dirty dishes and utensils
- Aid in expediting food from the kitchen
- Efficient, detail-oriented, courteous, attention to cleanliness and a team player attitude.
- Quick and efficient in order to serve as many customers as possible.
- Pay close attention to detail to ensure that the chef didn't miss any foods on the plate.
- Positive attitude is a must, as well as making sure you are clean and presentable.
- Inform management of customer feedback.
