We are seeking to hire an Assistant Compliance Officer. In this role, you will assist the Compliance Officer in ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs and procedures.
- Conduct research and analysis of compliance-related issues and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and records.
- Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Stay current on changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of banking/compliance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Willingness to travel (some overnight) for continuing education/training opportunities
