Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Consistently delivers outstanding client service with a friendly, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Acts as a cultural ambassador for The Bank of Tampa to internal and external clients, providing a professional, exceptional, and supportive experience with each interaction.
- Business development focus as an individual producer and as a sales management leader with responsibility for managing a substantial portfolio of affluent clients that includes loans, deposits and wealth related products and services. The scope of this role includes increasing net interest margin, deposit and loan pricing, and non-interest income generation that contributes to overall bank profitability goals.
- Demonstrates expert ability and knowledge in leading and participating in client relationship building in collaboration with the commercial banking team. Financially confident when interacting with a broad range of clients, specifically affluent clients.
- Coaches for performance, recognizes and rewards individual accomplishments, provides meaningful, timely feedback and development, and encourages a positive team environment.
- Communicates with impact and enthusiasm in formal and informal settings and with various audiences (staff and clients).
- Active leadership in community organizations and activities.
- Oversees, and accountable for, the smooth and effective functioning of the banking office. In conjunction with the Service Assistant Manager, is responsible for the effective and efficient office operational management, in line with established Bank policies and procedures and expense control guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-6 years or more demonstrated experience with in-depth financial relationship management, leading, developing, coaching, and motivating personnel to create a positive team environment.
- Proven background in sales and business development with existing and new clients, specializing in wealth planning and other financial services.
- Broad comprehension of overall bank office operations including expertise in balancing client service with bank risk.
- Registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator through the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or in the process of obtaining NMLS registration.
- 4- Year Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BS or BA) preferably with a business or finance focus, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Holds at least one position in civic or philanthropic organization in our community.
