The Baptist Home in Ozark, MO is looking to hire a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant/ Floor Tech. The Maintenance Assistant is part of and functions in the context of the Maintenance Department of The Baptist Home. The MA performs general and routine grounds keeping of TBH campus in order to provide a therapeutic environment for the maximum physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being of each resident.
Qualifications:
- Good communication and public relations skills with residents and their families, staff and public.
- A basic and essential knowledge and use of maintenance equipment in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
- Must have floor care experience using a buffer and extractor.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Routine mowing and trimming of the grounds of TBH.
- Routine watering, pruning and trimming of trees and shrubbery.
- Maintaining clean, clutter free, attractive and safe grounds for visitors, employees, and residents.
- Participation in in-service training and specific work related committees as needed.
- Frequent standing, walking, squatting, crawling, reaching, lifting 0- 40lbs.
- Exposure to outside elements during all seasons.
- Must be able to read and follow directions well.
