The Bar Method is an industry leader in the fast growing barre-based fitness niche. Our classes incorporate dance conditioning, the science of physical therapy and the pace of interval training, making it the most targeted and effective body-sculpting workout. Clients leave each class feeling stronger, taller and inwardly proud.
A Bar Method Studio Coordinator is a people person who is not afraid to strike up a conversation with existing and prospective clients. As the first face they see when they walk in the door, you are far from timid and set the tone for their experience at the studio. Following excellent clientele interactions, you maintain a clean environment in the reception, locker room and studios as well as providing assistance to fellow desk coordinators and teaching staff. The ideal candidate must be passionate about fitness and delivering a superior experience for our members. They will be primarily responsible for driving sales and revenue within the studio through the sale of memberships.
As a Studio Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drive membership sales, all services and upsells all services
- Builds client relationships through excellent customer service
- Helps resolve customer account issues or complaints by determining optimal solutions
- Maintain product knowledge for retail and studio services
- Provides support to instructors i.e client names, setting up for classes
- Greeting clients upon arrival to studio, process new client intake forms and lead new client tours
- Provide top-level reception to clientele
- Maintains cleanliness throughout reception area, studios and locker rooms
- Promotes The Bar Method brand and consistently participates in classes
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts
- early mornings 5am-8am
- mid morning 7am-12pm
- evening 5pm-7pm
- Solid writing and grammar skills.
- A passion for fitness and wellness
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
- 1 years of previous sales experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong work ethic and confidence in taking initiative
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency Mac computers and Outlook
- Experience in MarianaTek software a plus—
