Barber Marina, a full-service marina and boatyard located on Alabama’s northern shore of the Intracoastal Waterway between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach is seeking an Outboard Service Center Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Proven experience in a marine service management role or similar field.
- Strong knowledge of boat maintenance and repair processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service.
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Confident in their communication skills and talking with customers
Responsibilities
- Oversee service operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall marina operations.
- Collaborate with upper management to develop and manage the marine service department budget.
- Ensure that all service activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols within the marine service department.
- Supervise and oversee other technicians.
- Work as part of a team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Yamaha and Mercury Certification
Will consider any highly motivated candidate. Pay range $25 to $45 depending on experience.
