Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives in the great outdoors? Do you have a knack for fixing things on the fly with creative, resourceful solutions? We’re looking for a Park Maintenance Supervisor who’s not just handy, but a true jack-of-all-trades—someone who can tackle maintenance challenges with skill, ingenuity, and a “MacGyver” mindset!
What is The Barefoot Trail? We are an all ages, outdoor adventure park focused on grounding and foot reflexology. Bringing a new concept to Flagstaff, Arizona!
Have you always wanted to know what it feels like to walk around barefoot in the great outdoors? Use all your senses while barefoot to experience this manicured 1-mile trail walking through dirt, mud, water, sand, stone, and rocks. Try out the adventure stations along the way and challenge your mind and body while grounding!
What You’ll Do:
- Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, requires some experience in woodworking, concrete, plumbing, and electrical
- Troubleshoot and solve facility issues using a combination of skill, creativity, and good old-fashioned know-how
- Keep park restrooms, picnic areas, trails, and playgrounds in top condition for visitors
- Maintain and repair signage and outdoor structures
- Conduct routine safety inspections and address hazards before they become issues
- Operate tools, machinery, and vehicles to complete maintenance tasks efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on trails while leading a small team of helpers
- Ensure cleanliness of restrooms, picnic areas, and public spaces
- Responsible for landscaping, irrigation, and groundskeeping
- Be ready to improvise when traditional solutions won’t cut it!
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in maintenance, handyman work, or skilled trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Ability to think outside the box and make quick, effective repairs with available materials
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills—if you can fix it with your ingenuity, we want you!
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and tackle physically demanding tasks
- Self-motivated with a “get-it-done” attitude
- Experience with tools, equipment, and small machinery
- A valid driver’s license
