Group Leader Responsibilities
Animal Management
Manage the safety, entertainment, and well-being of assigned dog group
Learn names and behaviors of all dogs in assigned group
Clean up after dogs
Daily Cleaning/Procedural Tasks
Clean playrooms, yards, and kennels (mopping, sweeping, scrubbing)
Qualifications
*Previous kennel experience not required, but an added bonus! *Some knowledge of pets/animals.

Group Leaders at The Barker Lounge are responsible for the entertainment and safety of the dogs they look after, as well as the cleanliness of the facility. Learn and implement dog behavior and communication skills. Successful Group Leaders, above all else, are authentically interested in the health and well being of the dogs they care for. A Group Leader must be extremely alert, responsible, hard-working, and able to be active on their feet for 8 hours. Kennel and canine experience is a plus. There's lots of opportunities for growth beyond this entry level position available!
Must be 18 years or older with weekday and weekend availability (AM shift is 6:30am to 1:00pm and PM shift is 1:00 pm to 7:30pm)
