We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of our furry clients. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will have experience in pet care.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough bathing and grooming services for dogs and other pets, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming sessions to prevent injury to both the pet and yourself.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathing areas, grooming tools, and equipment after each use.
- Assist with drying, brushing, and styling pets as needed.
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions and report concerns to the management or veterinary staff.
- Take care of the small/geriatric board dogs throughout shift, including feeding, watering, and cleaning up after.
- Monitor daycare dogs, including watering and cleaning up after.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pet care practices.
- Experience in animal handling, particularly with dogs of various breeds and temperaments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or moving equipment.
- Experience in pet sitting or animal restraint is advantageous for managing different behaviors in pets.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 26 – 32 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
