What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny for Toddler position at The Barn at Copper Creek?
We are looking for a reliable, consistent caregiver for our 2.5-year-old daughter.
Both parents work from home during the week and are generally available if needed. The right candidate must be able to commit to working during all events on the schedule, especially on weekends during this busy season.
Our daughter is a sweet and easy-going child, and we are seeking someone who can engage her in fun and educational activities to help with her development, such as reading, puzzles, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate games. Also looking for assistance with light housekeeping during downtime.
Approximately 30-40 hours per week, $15-$17/hr.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive care, supervision, and companionship.
- Organizing engaging and educational activities like storytelling, art projects, and simple learning exercises to support her cognitive and motor skills development.
- Taking her on outdoor walks and encouraging active play.
- Ensuring her safety and well-being at all times.
- Preparing and serving meals/snacks.
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks during downtime (such as tidying up after meals, toy clean-up, and light cleaning during nap times or breaks).
