Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Wedding Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will connect with potential clients, conduct venue tour days, and guide couples through the booking process. You’ll be integral to helping couples envision their dream wedding while contributing to the growth of our venue.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management
- Promptly respond to inquiries (text, call, email) at various times, including non-traditional hours. Build rapport, answer questions, and maintain consistent lead engagement.
Tour Coordination
- Schedule & Availability: Be on-site for 2–3 tour days per week, primarily Saturdays and Sundays (10 AM–6 PM), with flexibility for weekday tours as needed.
- Client Engagement: Greet couples, provide guided tours, highlight our venue’s unique features, and address all inquiries.
- Follow-Up & Documentation: Manage tour appointments, keep thorough records, and document notes for each couple.
Sales & Closing
- Present clear pricing options and packages.
- Handle objections and actively close bookings.
- Follow up with leads who do not immediately book to re-engage them.
Client Handoff
- Upon securing a booking, seamlessly transition couples to the Events Manager for the next planning phase.
Corporate Sales & Business Development
- Identify opportunities and reach out to corporate clients, as well as other market segments, to increase venue bookings.
Administration & Organization
- Use Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) to track leads, manage schedules, and maintain organized client information.
- Provide comprehensive recaps and status updates to the management team.
Professionalism & Punctuality
- Maintain a friendly, positive demeanor and professional appearance that reflects our family-owned values.
- Arrive on time for scheduled tour days and promptly follow up on all leads.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience required.
- Experience in wedding or emotional sales is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiar with Calendly, CRMs, mac.
Skills & Traits
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Ability to connect emotionally with couples and understand their needs.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willing and able to work weekends and flexible hours.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience.
