Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Breakfast Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and answer questions about menu items
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience
- Process payments using cash registers and handle cash transactions securely
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas, including dining tables and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Work effectively in a team environment to deliver high-quality service
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math skills for handling payments and calculating tips
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Knowledge of food service procedures and fine dining etiquette
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
