What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent/Guest Services position at The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk?
- Register guests and assign rooms. Assist in preregistering and blocking of rooms as well as accommodate special requests when possible.
- Meet and exceed guest’s expectations by anticipating the services they may require
- Follow guidelines and practice accuracy in all credit and cash handling procedures.
- Communicate all late check outs, early check ins, special requests and other status updates to housekeeping department.
- Take same day reservations along with future reservations and cancelations. Maintain knowledge of rates, codes and corporate accounts.
- Process guest check outs.
- Perform billing actions, posting of charges and settlement of invoices with accuracy.
- Use proper telephone etiquette
- Report any unusual occurrences or requests to manager or assistant manager
- Knows all safety and emergency procedures and is aware of accident prevention policies
- Maintains the cleanliness of the front desk area
- Perform other duties assigned
- May require standing for 8 hours
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
