Job Responsibilities

• Compensation (Range) : 39-48 / hour : Salary :
• Work as an integral member within the brand Strategic Innovations and Analytics team to provide key data science component to support the development of retail strategy. Support Strategic Innovations and Analytics Manager by developing analytical solutions to improve business results.
• Pursues problem identification and impact across large vehicle populations, leveraging data mining, predictive modeling, simulation and visualization techniques to further enhance insight and internal performance optimization
• Perform hands-on analysis, search pattern design, mining automation development and data reduction execution
• Mentors others to develop analytical skill sets throughout the organization
• Maintain the latest knowledge in software and hardware products or services, trends, and identify best solutions to meet business requirements
• Establish strong working relationship with peer teams to review requirements / problem areas and establish the appropriate statistical techniques to apply on available data
• Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
• Develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicate those to peer teams
• Analytics that support Complex Event Processing and Real-Time Event Processing in the context of Big Data
• Acts as the subject matter expert for Data Analytics as it pertains both Predictive and Prescriptive analysis and ensure alignment with industry best practices
• The Go-to-Market Strategy & Innovations Team. Part of the broader Retail Planning Team within brand North America Sales Operations.
• Maintaining the brand Demand Forecasting Machine Learning Model and sharing its latest projections with brand leadership
• Maintaining the Offer Intelligence Python Program that aggregates data and provides useful information on various incentive tactics.
• Update and maintain various Tableau dashboards.
• The team provides key data science insights for retail strategy development and develops analytical solutions to improve business results.
• The role will feature a mix of regular reporting cadence and ad hoc requests.
• Interaction level with team
• This role will have regular interaction with other team members within brand Sales Operations and other business groups within the company. The worker will be expected to give live presentations of their findings from time-to-time.
• Employees who are capable of working in a hybrid fashion are STRONGLY preferred. We are looking for someone who can come into the office in Warren, MI from Tues-Thurs each week.
• Exposure to many teams throughout brand Sales Ops. Opportunity to work with vast amounts of data. A degree of freedom to pursue insights in ways that the employee finds most valuable to the organization.
