The Position
We are looking for a Part-Time Research and Administrative Assistant to join our recruiting and administrative team. The person filling this role will play a critical role in the recruiting process, and they will have a variety of responsibilities relating to office administration. We are looking for someone who can work approximately 20-25 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Attention to detail and organizational skills are a necessity. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal instructions. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be located in Massachusetts or possess a working geographical knowledge of the state.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, Google, and other professional databases.
- Formatting Excel and Word files.
- Scheduling and general office management.
- Conducting candidate outreach and managing several executive searches at one time.
- Drafting reports, both for internal review and for external clients.
- Writing job descriptions and creating supplemental information documents to present to potential candidates.
- Engage in occasional business development projects to expand the capacity of the organization.
The Candidate
The Research and Administrative Assistant will be a current or near future undergraduate upperclassmen or graduate student who is planning to continue coursework in the Fall of 2024. We are looking for an independent, self-motivated individual with prior experience in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Excel and will be comfortable using Outlook and LinkedIn for professional outreach.
Summary of Qualifications:
- Experience with internet research in a professional setting.
- Experience using LinkedIn.
- Strong written and communication skills. Experience writing for a business setting strongly preferred.
- Experience building and managing Excel databases.
- Ability to multitask and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Reliable technology.
