What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at The Bavarian Bierhaus?
We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and organized Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a key role in ensuring food is delivered to guests quickly and accurately, creating an exceptional dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to make sure orders are fulfilled and presented correctly, while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure that orders are correct and properly presented before serving.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them.
- Ensure the dining room is clean and organized by removing empty plates, glasses, and utensils.
- Maintain proper food safety standards and ensure that food is handled with care and cleanliness.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth flow of service, especially during peak hours.
- Assist in restocking supplies and organizing kitchen areas as needed.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and carry trays or large platters of food (up to 30 lbs).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
