Position Overview : We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials to ensure smooth production flow. This is a critical role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. If you have experience working with forklifts and material handling equipment, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities :
- Load and unload products from trailers using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Store products in proper locations within the warehouse.
- Transport products to and from warehouse storage areas and production areas.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of materials to various areas.
- Move and load hazardous materials under the direction of a supervisor.
- Regularly clean work areas and equipment by removing empty pallets, wood, and plastic.
- Follow company standards and legal regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot forklift equipment breakdowns.
- Stack goods in correct storage bays following stock control instructions.
- Verify that loads are secure and perform daily equipment checks.
- Assist with production as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
