Job Summary
The Beacon, a premier dining destination in Hopatcong, NJ, is seeking an experienced and dedicated FOH Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in managing restaurant operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a hospitable dining experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
· Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all guests receive high-quality service and memorable dining experiences.
· Staff Hiring: Recruit, interview, and hire talented staff members to maintain a high level of quality service.
· Staff Training: Provide comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing training for current staff to uphold service standards.
· Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all operating hours.
· Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, ordering, and supply management to ensure the restaurant is well-stocked with necessary items.
· Operational Efficiency: Maintain smooth day-to-day restaurant operations, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
· Minimum of five years experience as a restaurant manager or similar role.
· Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and enhancing guest satisfaction.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
· Experience in staff hiring, training, and scheduling.
· Proficient in inventory management and cost control.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
