The Product Development Assistant supports The Beaufort Bonnet Company's product design, development and production processes. This role is responsible for supporting the communication and preparation of accessory/apparel designs to manufacturers. Supports the development process encompassing sample management activities: achieving design aesthetic, quality standards, margin goals, and timelines.- Serve as a source for cross-functional (product development, tech design, manufacturers) information and communication related to product design and development.
- Responsible for accurately creating, maintaining and updating accessory/apparel tech packs and requests in PLM System.
- Create and validate cost sheets per style, color and dimension. Confirms prototypes and/or samples are approved.
- Manage print copyrights and communicate with Legal department as required.
- Maintain style names and ensure all new styles and prints have new unique names
- Manage and track prototype and photoshoot and wholesale sample receipt and approval
- Communicate product details to sales, ecommerce, and customer service teams.

Who we would like to meet:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent. Bachelor's in business, design, fashion, or related degree preferred but not required.
- Generally, 1 years of product development experience.
- Strong computer skills, Excel and Word.
