Salary :
The Service Technician / Mechanic position is responsible for aggregate / mining equipment and vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance and repair of vehicles / equipment at shop or in the field.
Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities
- Conducts vehicle / equipment inspections
- Conducts preventative maintenance and repair on vehicle / equipment
- Identifies and diagnoses mechanical problems
- Evaluates mechanical failures, determines cause and completes timely and effective repairs
- Uses equipment repair manuals and orders parts for repairs
- Responds to field service calls as assigned
- Other tasks as assigned
