**Job Overview:** We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for helping individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The Behavior Technician will play a vital role in providing therapeutic services and implementing behavioral plans to support the growth and development of our clients. **Duties:** - Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the behavioral needs of clients and develop personalized behavioral plans. - Implement behavioral plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, focusing on improving communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. - Provide patient care and support, including assistance with daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, and feeding. - Collect data on client progress and behavior, using this information to inform treatment plans and assess their effectiveness. - Assist with patient assessments, including observations of behavior, physical assessments, and review of medical records. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive behavioral health services. - Implement strategies to support the development of new skills and behaviors, such as using visual aids and reinforcement techniques. - Ensure the safety and well-being of clients, including providing crisis intervention and emergency care when necessary. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress, including behavioral data and treatment plans. **Skills:** - Experience working with children and individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. - Strong background in behavioral health and behavioral therapy. - Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods. - Ability to work effectively with individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviors. - Experience with medical records and patient assessment. - Knowledge of behavioral health treatment plans and strategies. - Ability to collect and analyze data, using this information to inform treatment plans. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. - Experience with patient care and support, including assisting with daily living skills. - Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize client safety and well-being.
