Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Philadelphia, PA, for a Creative Arts Therapist. The Creative Arts Therapist will be responsible for providing therapeutic services using methods such as music therapy, dance therapy, art therapy and drama therapy. Daily tasks include designing and implementing creative arts programs, conducting individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans. The Creative Arts Therapist will work closely with participants to support their mental health and recovery journey.
Qualifications
- Experience in Music Therapy, Dance Therapy, Art Therapy, and Drama Therapy
- Strong skills in Creative Arts and Mental Health
- Ability to design and implement creative arts programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Master's degree in Creative Arts Therapy or related field
- Licensure or certification in Creative Arts Therapy preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting is a plus
