Essential Functions
- Properly prepare medications for dispensing to patients
- Accurate refill and maintenance of drug stock locations
- Reconcile and charge for medications
- Field phone calls
- Navigate through the electronic health record
- Operate departmental equipment (hardware and software)
- Acquire and inventory control of medications
- Training and orientation to Pharmacy operation
- Assist in oversight of medication management
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of department
- Involvement in inter and intra-departmental committees/meetings
- Serve as a resource for hospital staff and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
