Overview
We are seeking a Mechanic-in-Training for assignment in Dodge City, Kansas. The selected candidate will assist in the operations and maintenance of a water/wastewater treatment facility.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
** This position has an on-call schedule **
** This position has a pay rate of $20 - $23/hr **
** This position requires maintenance skills with valves, pumps, motors, etc. **
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance on wastewater and water treatment plant motors, equipment, pumps, piping, electrical motors, panels and components
- Correctly diagnose equipment failure problems and be able to instigate proper repair procedures
- Work within confined spaces such as sewage/water equipment tanks
- Generate associated reports
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Drivers License
- Maintenance skills with valves, pumps, motors, etc.
- Familiarity with welding, plumbing or electrical is a plus
Salary : $20 - $23
