Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Instrument and Controls Engineer for a contract-to-direct assignment in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will work on projects that include state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

** This position has a pay rate of $39 - $52/hr **
** An Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) is highly preferred **
Responsibilities
- Perform regular field walks
- Attend project meetings
- Develop I&C drawings
- Construction specifications
- Specify instruments
- Write sequences of operations
- Reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications
- Produce designs for industrial production facilities, cooling and utility plants, semiconductor tool installations, HVAC, process and piping systems
- Producing process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), control panel drawings and wiring diagrams
- Producing buildable AutoCAD drawings for project installations
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 3 years experience working with Instrumentation and Controls
- Working knowledge of PLC's (Siemens), DCS and other controls applications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is a plus
- An Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) is highly preferred
Salary : $39 - $52
