Overview
We are seeking a Pump Mechanic for assignment in Fort Lupton, Colorado. The selected candidate will work closely with the operations lead to communicate and coordinate equipment repairs and outages that may occur and affect operation processes.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
** This position may have an on-call schedule **
Responsibilities
- Work closely with operations team to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Replaces packing in pumps or valves
- Replaces bearings in motors, pumps and other equipment
- Checks and aligns equipment
- Assists in the installation and setup of new equipment
- Maintains maintenance records in the CMMS; including review of completed work orders before closing work orders
- Ensure all hours and parts are included on work orders and entered into the CMMS
- Orders repair parts and equipment with authorization of the project manager; maintains an inventory of critical spare parts
- Pump, motor and electrical troubleshooting
- Work on-call shifts, as assigned, including being fit and able to respond to call-ins in a timely manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A valid Drivers License
- 5 years experience with hydraulics, motors, valves and/or pumps
- Varied electrical and mechanical experience
