Opportunity Snapshot:
- Compensation: $81.00/hour
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Assignment Duration: 12 months
- Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours / hybrid

Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams working withing our IT Refinery, Operations & Corporate area
- Work with internal IT and refinery subject matter experts as well as business partners and external vendors. Work with stakeholders to define the project scope, timelines, objectives and track deliverables, risks/issues and project status
- Manage scope, requirements, timeline, cost, quality, human resources, communications and integration
- Identify and manage risks / issues and development of mitigation plans
- Lead meetings for status reporting, scheduling, requirements, resource assignments and deliverables
- Maintain document control and track project activities and team communications
- Prepare project reports and dashboards as required by the management team
- Ensure project repository is built and maintained
- Develop and review project status with project team and create weekly reports
- Manage outsourced teams (off-site) including vendor engagements
- Develop and publish communications to project teams, management and project stakeholders
- Provide guidance on process and deliverables to the project team
- Lead project teams in strategic meetings and follow up with meeting notes
Qualifications:
- A minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management or related field, or minimum of 12 years' experience in a PMO/Project Management function within a Information Technology organization
- Project Management Certification
- At least 8 years' experience of refinery industry or SAP IT Project Management experience (PM, MM, IM, P2P, FI, CO). At least 8 years of end to end SAP IT System Development Lifecycle experience
- At least 8 years of experience guiding and facilitating executive level business decisions and performing business analysis in cooperation with SAP clients
- Extensive experience with project management and all phases of the project lifecycle
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a project manager, handling large-scaled SAP ECC projects
- Possess good problem solving and resolution skills and a high level of analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills; effective team player and leader
- Strong project planning skills using appropriate PM tools: MS Project, MS Office, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail. Possess good problem solving and resolution skills and a high level of analytical skills
- Facilitate cross-functional, intra-department, and inter-department communications and cooperation
- Understands Business and System Requirements as they map to a traceability matrix for testing
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to facilitate large meetings with all management levels in attendance. Ability to take ownership of issues to resolution. Ability to influence others to move to a common goal

Client Overview:
Our Client is a Fortune 500 company and an independent petroleum refiner that focuses primarily on producing high-value light products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, specialty lubricant products and specialty and modified asphalt. They own and operate several refineries located primarily in Southwestern United States and market their products to this area, as well as the Rocky Mountains, extending into the Pacific Northwest and other neighboring Plains states.
