Overview
We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Utility Worker for assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the installation, operations and maintenance of water distribution and sewer collection systems on an assigned shift.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
** This position has an on-call schedule **
** This position has a pay rate of $22.95/hr **
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, operation and repair of systems to include valves, pumps, meters, screens, water taps, manholes and any other stationary or mobile equipment
- Record data collected from readings of equipment gauges, and assists in the generation of associated reports
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- This position is required to be available on an on-call basis for emergencies
- Frequent travel between work locations is required
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Drivers License
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
